Examples of carried data:
• RACH: control information from UE to the UTRAN.
– Connection set-up request.
– Small amounts of packet data.
• DCH: dedicated traffic and control information. It may contain several DTCH. (Similar to the one in DL)
• CPCH: a common transport channel for packet data transmission. (Extention of
RACH)
